Shortened owls appear in the North Cotswolds each year in november and over winter, leaving in early April. I have filmed these magnificent birds for the past 3 years and this film is the very best footage I have shot during this period.
They have been a pleasure to film, with the opportunity to capture some lovely behaviour. The site also has resident barn owls, brows hares and the occasional hen harrier.
The film has some lovely drone footage over the cotswolds. The film tells the storey about the owls struggle for survival, and the requirement for a thriving vole population.
